Trunline Trunkline: This ductwork carries heated air from the heating unit to the front of the Yoga room. Diffusers will be located every 4 feet to move the heated air from the ductwork into the room.
ductwork waiting for assembly Ductwork before being assembled: TDC connections and Pittsburg seams. This is a labor-intensive way of doing ductwork to make it leak-proof.
ductwork in wall Ductwork Assembly: The ductwork is now being installed inside the wall plenum. The retur air from the room will be recycled through the ductwork back to the heat/air exchanger.
Ductwork installed in rear wall of the studio Ductwork fully installed into return air plenum: Once the ductwork is installed in between the wall frames and connected to the room and heat unit ductwork, the wall can be sheetrocked.
linear diffusers being mounted to ceiling grid to supply heated air Linear Diffusers: were chosen to direct air into the front of the room. They are being installed in the ceiling. Note the connection from the supply air ductwork into the diffuser. Various materials can be used for the ductwork. The ductwork here is made of steel. Ripstop nylon can be used in rooms with higher ceilings. Also available is steel coated with colloidal silver for better protection against micro-organisms.
